Q1. If I am taking alpha lipoic supplement already, will it be an overdose if I were to take Live-well MITOcare? What is the safety limit?

The therapeutic dose for lipoic acid is 600-800 mg/day. Lipoic acid appears to have no significant side effects at dosages up to 1,800 mg daily.

Note: The no-observed-adverse-effect level (NOAEL) is considered to be 60 mg/kg bw/day.
